The Help24 TeleHealth Clinical Hub is a digital space created by doctors for medical professionals who provide real-time care daily. It is a community-driven initiative that responds to the need for professional dialogue, peer learning, and—importantly—a sense of solidarity: you are not alone in your professional challenges.
Online meetings take place regularly, almost every Friday. Participants include infectious disease doctors providing services to key populations and people living with HIV (PLHIV), as well as general practitioners and specialists (phthisiatricians, dermatovenerologists, neurologists, nephrologists, and others). Healthcare professionals from across Ukraine—representing various regions, experience levels, and specialties—gather to discuss clinical cases, analyze complex situations, and identify solutions based on evidence-based medicine and current national standards. They share experiences with colleagues in a respectful, informal, and peer-driven setting.
Discussions focus on updates in HIV treatment, opportunistic infections, comorbidities, complex health issues, vaccination, and practical strategies to improve care for key populations and PLHIV.
The Help24 TeleHealth Hub supports modern approaches to continuous professional development—open, practical, and equitable. We follow the principle of “peer-to-peer” mentorship and collaboration. We emphasize that medicine starts with trust—both in patients and in each other. This is not just an educational product—it is a living professional community that functions consistently and sustainably. Topics are adapted to the needs of participants—without unnecessary barriers.
These sessions are held as part of the Help24 TeleHealth project (Alliance for Public Health and Alliance Consultancy) and with the support and direct involvement of the Public Health Center (PHC) of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The format includes active participation from infectious disease specialists, professionals from other fields, general practitioners, PHC representatives, and project consultants.
Why Is This Important?
Due to the war, COVID-19 pandemic, forced displacement, and the destruction of healthcare infrastructure, many Ukrainians have lost access to quality medical care. The Help24 TeleHealth Clinical Hub aims to preserve and strengthen the healthcare workforce through continuous knowledge exchange, training, and peer support.
