MoT – Assessment of HIV Transmission Modes
Project Title:MoT – Assessment of Reported HIV Modes of Transmission in Ukraine Implementation Period:2013 – 2015 Objectives/Goals:The research aimed to understand the modes of HIV transmission among people enrolled in HIV care in Ukraine, with the goal of informing prevention strategies and improving the national HIV response. Key Activities/Results: Conducted interviews with 2,328 randomly selected HIV-positive patients from seven regions of Ukraine. Analyzed data on behavioral factors and HIV transmission routes to support the planning of prevention activities. Produced a comprehensive report on the findings to inform advocacy and national policy-making.
