Development of Data Quality Design (DqD) for Monitoring and Evaluation – International HIV/AIDS Alliance (IHAA)

Objectives/Goals:
This project sought to build capacity among IHAA’s linking organizations to adhere to a unified data quality approach. It aimed to improve data collection methods, reduce unnecessary data collection, and maximize the use of technology in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems.
Key Activities/Results:
- Conducted data assessments across 12 countries, including Cambodia, China, India, and Kenya.
- Supported the implementation of improved M&E systems, including the use of cloud technology for data management.
- Delivered technical support visits and training sessions to ensure adherence to data quality standards.
- Developed a position paper on data optimization to guide future projects.
